The Minnesota Department of Human Services is exploring other options to support direct support workers and the people who hire them.
This website will list resources for the Community First Services and Supports (CFSS) health care program and the Personal Care Assistance health care program, as well as resources for people who hire their own direct support worker, and people who want to find a job as a direct support worker.
CFSS will replace personal care assistance (PCA) and the Consumer Support Grant (CSG). The CFSS information sheet can help you understand the new program and how it compares to the PCA program:
